What is with Patrick?
Well, as the owner of a fledgling start-up CornBread Ad’s mission is to empower small businesses with affordable, professional social media advertising. Achieving this by creating high-impact Shorts and Reels. designed with over a decade of experience creating top-selling commercial art. Committed to building the future of quality, accessible marketing for smaller businesses. *This started as a side project while working full-time and practicing design. Work in progress.
As a designer I welcome the constantly changing challenges presented with each new project. Managing the department’s work flow and out-put and seeing hard work accomplished. Every design task includes more than an artistic eye and flare for creativity. Today a designer has to be productive and able to create to keep with high demands and workloads.
Like a mechanic, carpenter, or any other skilled trade I have developed the use of Adobe cloud apps as tools to produce results. Like any practiced tradesperson I have come to rely on and learn how to use my tools to create professional grade files for print and social medias.
Value human design over ai, but it’s okay to ask for help.
Founded by a design professional whose commercial art history includes creating top-selling merchandise for brands like Steamboat Sticker, Ron Jon Surf Shops and Coors, CornBread Ads don't just make videos—we create design-driven content that is proven to sell. Oh, and I am actually schooled in drawing and photography. So, the art and photo sides of my designs are real.
Yet. I see the value in A.I. and utilize this tool as a powerful agent for helping with quick ideas for headlines, color schemes, in app shortcuts, and any new place that I discover a use.
The problem we solve
Small businesses need quality, professional video advertising but can't afford traditional agency prices. At a time when algorithms decide what we see and influence what we buy, the shared videos and reels shared amongst your clients and their closed groups may be the most effective way to stay visible in a world of billions.
As an employee I have experience working with Google workspace, Assana, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Isolved, and various other content management systems. Experience working in-house and remotely with a parade of designers, sales persons, press operators, clients, and owners spanning a over 8 years.
I am able to pick and understand new tasks, with a multitude of accomplished design goals under my belt in my mind as a set of skills to utilize.
Long vision
CornBread Ads would like to become a modern, cost-effective advertising solution, that creates a need for the talent of artists and the jobs where they can showcase the amazing abilities of human creativeness. A place where traditional artistry and technology will combine into recognition for the brands we represent and the creatives that produce the content.
As a professional designer I personally hope to continue pursuing a life with meaning and direction. One where I can help others with the skills I have learned grow their company.
